Christmas 2012

This year has been quite crazy and stressful, so I wanted to do a simple, back to basics Christmas. I did this by using elements from nature, such as, pine cones, pine trees, fur, antlers and moss. I also wanted a sense of coziness, so I used fabrics and paper to soften the edges. There was so many more wonderful things that I had planned to do for the season, but I just didn't have enough time. I'll save all my unfinished plans for next year. I hope you enjoy what I was able to get done...

Stocking caps filled with tiny pine cones and lichen for your decorating needs.

Comfortable vintage bed sheets and pillowcases. Lace, rolls of webbing and vintage wallpaper (behind left of basket) for wrapping gifts.

Love these bare root trees in glass jars.

Spring & key ornament. (sorry about the blur)

Old fish stringer. A unique way to display your ornaments.

Old religious prints displayed on a screen door.

Wishing you and your family a peaceful, back to basics Christmas. Remember to slow down, enjoy the season and the things that matter the most.

All is calm, all is bright, all is beautiful.
