Did you miss me? I want to tell you all why I've been absent for so long, what I've been up to, and my plans for the future of House Things. But there is so much involved and it's all still jumbled up in this crazy head of mine. As soon as I get it all figured out I will be sure to fill you in. House Things will probably continue at a slower pace for a bit. I do hope you will continue to follow and support me. In the meantime I hope you enjoy the new items I have added to my space over the past few weeks.
Slate used as place mats.
Light bulb clips from vintage lamp shades used as photo/place card holder.
Book Page Garland. After seeing these on another blog I knew I had to make some. So much texture! I can't remember which blog I got this from. If anyone knows please tell me so I can give them credit.
Paper Wreath.
Ticking Pillow Cases.
Always love grain sacks.
Compote Sandwich.
Ledgers, Love.
Before
After
Chicken Coop Coffee Table. What would you put inside?
I've shown this guy before but I love him so much I thought I'd show him again. Doesn't he look good with an Edison style bulb?
Another shot of the Paper Garland.
Tennis Racket Press.
Love this! The candle holder unscrews from the jar so you are still able to fill it with whatever strikes your fancy.
Wow Brandon, it's good to hear from you again! I'm lovin' all your pics!
ReplyDeleteIf I'm not mistaken, you probably saw the paper garland on Amy's blog @ Vintage Marketplace. She's featured them on her blog and sells them on Etsy.
I love the lamp, without the shade it looks like the hoarse just had an idea. lol
I would love to fill the chicken coop with the ton of decorating books I have!
Do you know I have passed up those tiny candelabras because they felt TOO small. Now, I'm going to be keeping my eye out for them. What a great idea!!!
Don't be a stranger, I soooo enjoy your posts!
