Do I Have To Sell Them

Today I just have a few new treasures to share with you. I would have a few more but I left some at home and forgot to take pictures of the others. But...I do have two pieces that in my opinion are awesome! So good that it was really difficult to not keep them for myself.

Tapestry's are one of the things that I love but don't know why. I guess it's the calmness of them and how they transport you to a simpler time. I displayed the one in the first photo (the one sitting on the table) backwards because you can see the stitching. Made by hand...gotta love it.

Okay,
are you
ready for the
 best?

Are you
a
fan of
Restoration Hardware?

Do you

Isn't she beautiful?

Now...

saving

the

best

for

last!

Two more photos from Restoration Hardware...

And here it is...My Favorite!!!

Did I play it up too much or do you love it as much as I do!!?

Now....will someone please buy these so I can quit crying about having to sell them.

Until next time, have a great day.

New At House Things

Had a great day today restocking my room at Sisters' Garden! My Mom and younger sister met me there to do a little shopping. It's been quite awhile since I've seen them and even longer since we've had time to do some antiquing. My Mom and I have been loyal shoppers at Sisters' Garden for more than ten years. Whenever we can find the time to get there on the same day, it's a real treat. We have so much fun adding to our Sister's Garden memories.

Because today was more about quality time instead of work, and with selling two larger pieces of furniture in the last couple weeks I didn't get everything done that I had planned. But that's completely ok...I think things turned out pretty good. Have a look and let me know what you think.

 Tin cow tags.

 Shoe stretchers.

How many do you want...I've got a whole crate full. My Mom bought some of these from me. She is going to do what I had planned on doing with them...two great minds think alike. Hang them on the wall to use as a hook.

 Painted farm bench.

Detail view of the farm bench...my favorite color right now.
A gray brown with  a light whitewash.

I stuck two forks in where the pipes would have gone on this faucet,
so now it can be used as an easel.

Third times a charm...I repainted the sofa table for the third time.
Don't you wanna take it home?

Barn board and ticking coat hook.

 Metal sign holders.

 Can't get enough grain sacks.

The next few photos are of items I got on my last buying trip.
I don't know if I was hungry or had kitchen on my mind, but it wasn't until I go home that I realized, everything I bought was all kitchen related.

I saw a very simple but stunning display like this on one of my favorite design blogs. I just had to do the same thing. Who knew seeing spoons laying side by side could make me so happy. The display I saw was from the  blog of a friend who owns a fantastic store called Finderskeepers Market in Lexington, KY. Be sure to check it out!

Love this! Don't know if it's part of a feeder or farm machine
but I'm calling it a cloche.
